UFO’s: Reality or Insanity
UFO’s, unidentified flying objects, are an enigma in the global culture with fascinating claims of abduction and extraterrestrial visitation. From Stonehenge and the pyramids to crop circles to strange human enlightenments the topic gained considerable popularity as well as a great deal of cynicism. Could the possibility of extraterrestrial existence be a possibility if we consider the vastness of space; yes it is very likely that somewhere out in the endless vacuum that was named space, because that is what it is – space, the likelihood of another complex organism entertaining basic rational thought exists.
Neither atheist nor religious extremists can argue that the possibility of other life forms residing somewhere on another planet somewhere outside our own solar system does not exist. Many argue Darwin over God and vice versa but few see both working in tandem much like ancient Egypt whom saw science and God being the same. If we consider God to be a living entity it can surely reside out in space as it is almighty so therefore there would be life in outer space; in contrast to the religious train of thought we could also consider as atheists that statistics indicate that life elsewhere in the universe has profoundly occurred.
What we already know about the miraculous and has been stated here so far in this post it comes to settle that the human race would in fact concede to the claimed existence of other life forms. So, the likelihood of our race accepting the notion of the UFO phenomenon would prominently follow suit due to the fact that those far off beings would obviously need transportation of some sort to arrive here at the Earth. While anyone can guess at the existence of other life forms like bacteria existing in the confines of space with an excellent degree of success it is not so well proven the bipedal with opposable thumbs unless we consider much more.
My position on the matter of extraterrestrial life is that it does in fact exist and much as it does here on the Earth from one celled organisms and bacteria on up to complex creatures possibly humanoid. What I do not believe is that fact that we have been visited by aliens from outer space for several reasons mainly revolving around the expanse of the void that surrounds all things we know to exist. Costs and availability of the resources required to navigate our way to a vacation spot can be taxing let alone trying to reach Pluto and do so with tangible meaning. The argument of advanced technology and civilization will get you light years ahead of the curb, but light years translate into micro seconds in space, so we really haven’t even gotten off of the porch yet in those terms.
Most alien sightings speak of humanoid, slender figures with exaggerated features that seem strikingly similar to a fetus in a womb ultrasound snapshot right about the time the baby is going to start developing its characteristic features. Someone could also argue that that is what the human race would evolve into from long term exposure to the conditions of living in space over the course of many generations. Some may even see it like a revelation witnessing our evolution into what we currently coin as alien merely misunderstanding the message delivered. Anyway you cut it, life does exist in space – at least on one planet called Earth – and seems to tie in everything about the aliens being fetus.
E=MC2 is Einstein’s theorem about the relativity between energy, mass and speed for calculating many things like requirements to achieve a specified speed, kinetic energy that can be utilized in other formulas to determine impact and much more. Ignorance surrounds the theory stating it only applies to the speed of light and that is medieval foolishness. This little tidbit explains itself as worthy to this case later on, but it immediately sustains my argument that we live in a bubble of ignorance as a race (human) and must now force ourselves to step out of the box in numerous ways. The first glorious step is self recognition and through that event we become enlightened. A sentient race worthy of space travel – maybe.
So, what does E=MC2 have to do with UFO sightings and NASA and science fairs, you ask? Oh, I didn’t mention NASA and science fairs yet – sorry. While we can dismiss extraterrestrial life looking at human embryos and fetus in comparison how do we address UFO sightings when so many have seen them flying about; NASA science fairs are a good place to start with all that humanity has to offer us with engineering and physics genius. We’re all students of the sciences from cooking to operating a lawn mower and DVD player so it should suffice that engineers also have a school of thought and also collaborate like hobbyists in social communion or a fair like atmosphere. flying saucers could then be easily waived away as being witnessed by a bystander getting to close to a science fair.
NASA are specialists in engineering particularly oriented to managing the negotiation of space and to a growing extent extraterrestrial landscapes. With various considerations like the presence of volatile elements in the soils and atmospheres of other satellites like moons and planets transportation has to take on a different approach to design. The flying saucer type has no jet engines so it can navigate through flammable atmospheres without signaling a catastrophic event; Titan, a moon of Saturn, has a liquid gas atmosphere and one spark spells the doom of that moon’s natural existence because we were fools for using combustion based power plants. It is fascinating to envision so much compassion in humanity and to witness it with an organization the stature of NASA – truly beautiful people and inspiration to anyone seeking hope in mankind’s future as a humane race. Titan has no life that we could visibly guess to exist, but we still care about it that our compassion our passion can be limitless at times.
It starts to look as though the UFO space ships are looking more down to Earth, but if NASA was behind the UFO phenomenon and it was truly research wouldn’t they tell us what was happening? Short answer is yes and the long answer is when it was time is my guess. Declassification has its virtue in keeping everyone safe and the closed nature of Federal affiliation on the level that NASA resides says a great deal about liability and circumstance. To coin an old phrase (point of origin unknown) “what if that technology fell into the wrong hands?” as we have witnessed throughout the history of our race many things meaningful have been molested into something distasteful like ice picks, knives and the like – tools that became the instruments in murder – so too could space age technology become weapons of mass destruction.
In addition to everything else we could analyze the sightings by interviewing witnesses to get a better understanding of what we might actually do if visited by other-worldly entities; also based on case studies of the witness, we could get a general idea of how other life forms alien to the Earth might react to our visitations. anything is better than nothing at this stage of exploration regarding space, other moons and planets and ultimately interacting with other life forms outside our solar system. research and curiosity seem to be the two most dominant factors, with the widest appeal, throughout all discussions on the topic of extraterrestrial life and UFOs and these factors support the speculation I have on the matters briefly outlined in this post.
